Sunday, September 17th
will be taking place at
Holy Trinity Community & Partnership Centre, Boundary Road, Newark on
Sunday 17th September between 2pm - 6pm.
The goal is simply to raise as much money as possible for two absolutely amazing causes which are both very close to the hearts of the people of Newark, and of course, have a fantastically fun family day together too!
All funds raised, (each and every penny!) are to be split between 2 equally excellent causes:
Beaumond House Community Hospice Newark:
We all know about the amazing work Beaumond House do in providing first class care to the people under it's care and importantly, support their families throughout ill-health and bereavement.
The Holy Trinity Nottinghamshire Diocese Sick and Retired Priests Appeal:
Priests are extraordinary people who dedicate their entire lives to the service of others. This appeal is set up to ensure that, when no longer active in a parish due to retirement or illness, these extraordinary people are still able to put food on the table and heat their homes.
Our target is to raise at least £1000 for each charity and we really need YOUR help to make the event a success!
Trinity Fest! is to be an outdoor event centered around an open-air live music stage with many exciting local musical acts already lined up!......
Fantastic acoustic group "The Ghost Drinkers" are performing a range of well known classic covers that everybody knows. The Ghost Drinkers will also perform a special "Irish" set to get everyone's feet moving! " Special guest 11 year old Zara Francis (of the Voice Kids 2017) will also be performing a number of well-known songs in her unique style!
Holy Trinity school children's choir will be performing a number of pieces from their repertoire. We also have a top-secret, surprise, joint collaboration of the musicians from within our community which is set to be just fantastic!!
Alongside the live music, we have stalls, crafts, activities, inflatable fun for teeny tots, older children and grown-ups too! BBQ, Mama Whites pancakes, a special appearance from Beaumond House' very own mascot, Sunshine Bear and a licensed bar to boot! So literally, there will be something for everyone to enjoy!
