Free Tours At Newark Castle

Free tours of Newark Castle are being offered to National Lottery Players as a ‘thank you’ for the Gatehouse Project’s Heritage Lottery Funding.

The tours are being offered to thank National Lottery Players whose money has helped fund the Gatehouse Project, which has recently been awarded a stage 1 Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) grant.

The tours will take place on Sunday 17 December at 11am, 12pm and 1pm. The tower tour will be available at 11am and 12pm and the dungeon tour will be available on all three times. Tours will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

To claim a free tour, email newark.castle@nsdc.info and state which time and which tour you would like to attend. Please also state how many of you are coming. You must bring a confirmation email and national lottery ticket with you to the tour. One lottery ticket provides one free tour for up to a family of four. Only one tour is permitted. National Lottery tickets for all National Lottery games can be used to qualify for the free tour.

Please see www.newark-sherwooddc.gov.uk/newarkcastle/lotterythankyou for full terms and conditions.
