Bacon butties on a Sunday morning
NOTFAST were out in force at Parkrun again this week, at Sherwood Pines, Rutland Water, South Manchester, Colwick, Brierley Forest and Newark. PB’sthis week for Nikki Dales, Sue Catley, Netty Stevens, Rachel Sheldrake, David Baker, and Adrian Dix
At the Seagrave challenge this week, we had competing for NOTFAST, across the 16-mile cross country route. Martin Dickenson came in in 2:49:40, followed by Jeremy Reichelt (2:50:17), Caroline Upton (2:56:37), John Miller (3:32:23), and David Watt (Time TBC)
Steven White was at the Derby 10 mile event on Sunday, finishing in 1:28:13
Piotr Dura was at the Autumn Shakespeare Marathon at Long Marston Airfield, finishing in 3:40:14
Stuart Ashley completed the Six Dales Challenge in The Peak District on Saturday, starting and finishing in Biggin. The route takes in Biggin Dale, Wolfscote Dale, Hartington, Beresford Dale, Monyash, Lathkill Dale, Bradford Dale, Middleton and Long Dale, and Stuart completed the 26mile course in 8:46.
Finally, NOTFAST hosted a social run on Sunday in Claypole, attended by many local running clubs to raise money for the fund set up by local runner, Craig Renton in memory of his wife and daughter. The event was sold out with a waiting list, and all runners enjoyed the various routes, and bacon butties served on completion.
