So to the first press report from Graham Walsh

Some of the published results sparked rumours that our new chairperson had wasted no time in the January transfer window, but were short-lived. Anyway, we start at the Bolsover 10K where Tom Marshall finished 5th from a field of 672 in a wonderful new PB & club record time of 34:58. Lewis Hopkinson was the next Strider home in 39:32 then Peter Davis 45:03. Jon Rawson began the defence of his 'most improved' title with a new PB of 45:51, Jess Gordon was first woman Strider in 46:41, next home in orange were Mark Winter 46:52, Philippa Clarke and Adam Clarke both 49:17, Hannah Thomson 56:34 and Donna Beveridge 1:03:12. Anthea Moisey and Becky Clift travelled to York for the Brass Monkey Half marathon where Becky finished in 2:07:03 PB and Anthea 2:50:08 .
Well done everyone.
