Newark Book Festival is a weekend-long literature fuelled festival taking place from 9th – 12th July in the historic town of Newark on Trent.
Celebrating and showcasing the world of books through an exciting and engaging programme. From ticketed author events, including; panel talks, crime fiction, contemporary writing and literary fiction, to a whole host of free family fun. There is something for everyone to enjoy.
Taking place in beautiful venues across the town, this year the festival will be exploring: A Festival Through the Ages In 2020 we will be celebrating culture and creativity over the past 100 years, from key changes and topics such as the climate to how technology can affect and inspire the sector, to celebrating milestones and anniversaries both locally and further afield, such as Live Aid, The Beatles, Alice In Wonderland and the rise of the novel.
