We're a social enterprise, based in Newark, that is leading the fight against the UK's skills gap crisis.

I run a social enterprise called SkilldUp (UK) C.I.C that is fighting back against the UK's skills gap crisis to ultimately help people in the following demographics get the support and skills training they need to find a career:
- Long term unemployed
- People with disabilities & neurodivergent
- Veterans struggling to transition to civilian life
- Younger people who aren't equipped with the required soft skills or direction
We do this through interactive workshops & keynote speakers at our events. We partner with local authorities and charities that work frequently with their local communities. Our first event is at the YMCA in Newark in partnership with the YMCA & Rt Hon Robert Jenrick MP on 12th April 2024.
Our current needs are private sponsorship & local employers to attend, which funds these programs. We would like to support these through government funding too.
