Established in 2002 by a small group of local businesses, Newark Business Club has become one of the leading business clubs in the East Midlands. With over 100 businesses regularly attending our monthly breakfast meetings, attracting visitors, guests and speakers from Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Yorkshire.
The Business Club Chairman is Kerri Saxby and Vice-chair Simon Shaw.
The executive committee of the club administer its affairs in accordance with the club constitution and actively encourage members to join committees particularly where they have areas of expertise.
Central to the club is the Action Group which lobbies local, regional and national government to improve the business environment. It comments on planning issues, advises on transport matters and other areas that impact on business.
Our monthly breakfast meeting is held at the Everyday Champions conference centre off Brunel Drive. The meeting commences at 7am and we always welcome new members. You will receive a warm welcome and meetings are designed to be friendly and informative with the opportunity for networking. There are excellent facilities and tea/coffee is provided free of charge. A selection of breakfast options are available before and during the break and there is also a café onsite.
