A1 Northbound Closed

Serious collision closes arterial road

The northbound stretch of the A1 has been closed following a serious collision between two vehicles.

The incident happened near Markham Moor Services at around 12.30am today (Thursday 5 October).

It is closed and affected between North Muskham and Tuxford and diversions have been put in place. 

Drivers are being urged to avoid the area if possible as the road will remain closed for some time whilst collision investigation is carried out and significant delays are expected.
