A1 Northbound Closed

Long delays following collsion

The A1 Northbound has been closed at Balderton following a collision involving two vehicles leaving one vehicle on the central reservation.

All three emergency services are currently at the scene and northbound traffic is being diverted from Balderton through Newark town centre.

One lane is open on the A1 Southbound and as a result there are lengthy delays.

The fire service are assisting a trapped person and injuries are unknown
