Lincoln bus station evacuated over suspicious package

Lincoln Central bus station has been evacuated and roads closed due to an unidentified package on an incoming bus.

The City of Lincoln Council has taken the precautionary action of clearing Lincoln Central bus station with a 100 metre cordon in place, and have confirmed a bomb squad has been called to the scene.

Lincoln Central Railway Station and car park are also closed.

Lincolnshire Police have closed the streets surrounding the bus station and are advising people to avoid the area.
