Newark Book Festival Fun at the Buttermarket

MINI BEAST MAKING & MOTHER NATURE FUN Saturday 8 July, from 12.00 – 4.00 pm; FREE event for families and all ages and abilities.

Following the Ugly Bugs Wingding show at 11.30 until 12.00 noon and 1.00 until 1.30 pm in Newark Market place - drop in and join the Inspire Team at the Buttermarket for dragonfly, bee, bug and butterfly crafts to make and take home. Make a sock puppet bookworm and have some counting fun with ladybird spots and bug inspired puzzles. Meet the hilarious Mother Nature and her trusty sidekick Squirrel Walnutkins, who are on a mission to save the planet with your help. With book stalls and information on hand – come for a free afternoon of fun and find out what the new Buttermarket facility has to offer you, your friends and family.

Officially opened in March, the Buttermarket is now a lively hub for learning, creativity, and exploration, and is set to be a valued venue for educational and cultural activities in the heart of Newark town centre.
