Police Warning Following Incident in Bleasby

A girl was approached on her way to school in Bleasby

Sherwood Police have issued a warning after a Minster School student was approached in Bleasby on her way to school on Wednesday.

Sherwood Police have shared the incident, which took place at appoximately 8.30am on Wednesday on their Facebook page. A man, described as a white male in his 50s, bald and wearing black clothing, asked the young girl to get into his car. Thankfully the pupil ran away from the vehicle, and the small black Ford car then drove off towards the Nottingham direction.

The Minster School is aware and will be sending communications out to parents in due course.
