The A46 is currently closed Southbound following a multi vehicle Collison involving both lorries and cars.
As a result there are currently long delays across the road network including the A46/A17 and A617. Newark town centre is also highly congested.

United against mindless acts of vandalism at Sherwood Avenue Play Park
A statement from Councillor Barbara Corrigan, Mayor of Newark Town Council “We are deeply saddened and disappointed by horrific acts of vandalism at Sherwood Avenue Park over the weekend. This cherished community space, which has seen significant investment and care, was defaced with offensive graffiti, equipment has been ripped out of the ground entirely and horse manure was left in the park.
