Woman Dies Following Collision

Sad news after Monday's collision

A woman has sadly died after her bicycle collided with a motorbike in Newark on Monday 12th March 2018

Karen Clayton suffered a severe head injury after the collision in Lombard Street at around 6.35am.

The 55-year-old, who is from Newark, was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre but sadly succumbed to her injuries yesterday evening (Tuesday 13 March 2018).

Karen’s family have asked for privacy at this difficult time.

Nottinghamshire Police are appealing to anyone who saw what happened or who might have any information that could help, to contact them on 101 quoting incident 78 of 12 March 2018.
