Amelia Chrispin

Triathlon training

On Saturday Amelia took part in the 3rd race of the North Mids League XC at Shipley Park in Heanor. The race was a tough, muddy 3.5km. Amelia had a great race at the bottom end of the U15 girls age group and managed to cross the line in a fantastic 3rd place. The result means she is currently leading the series with one race to go in January.

Less than 24hrs later, Amelia travelled to Leeds to take part in a swimming gala at the John Charles Centre.

In the 3 races she entered, she managed 3 PB's and 2 County Qualifying times. She was most pleased with her 200m freestyle, in which she took a bronze medal, knocking 6 seconds off her PB and breaking 2min 30sec for the first time.
