Newark Tennis Club thrived in this weekends sunshine as Mixed 1st started their Div 6 campaign with a 10-8 win away at Woodthorpe with Steph/Adrian Smith being most successful dropping only 1 set.
Steph, Sue Tomblin & Sara Jackson were kitted up again on Sunday for a Ladies 1st home match in Div 2 after being promoted last season and secured an impressive 17 sets to 1. It’s early days for the summer season but a great start for the club teams.
