Newark Athletic Cubs President Gareth Bagguley was made a Life Vice President at the recent Annual General Meeting of the Notts AAA,
Gareth becomes one of eight Life VIce Presidents and told Radio Newark Sport “This came as something of a shock and must mean I am getting old”.

Newark Rugby Club will be looking for an early Christmas present in their final match before the new year. The team are still looking for their first victory of the current campaign and will be hopeful it comes against a Belgrave side that are nine points and three places above our locals.

Starting with football, Newark Town’s recent dip in form which saw one victory from their last five outings was put to the test with a tricky day out in Derbyshire, in front of a crowd of 345 “the Blues" proved up to the task with a clean sheet aided by a single Harry Allcock strike giving them a happy journey home from Gresley.
