Saturday morning is Parkrun time for many Striders and as well as Newark, we had participants at Bakewell, Holkham, Poolsbrook, Reigate Priory, Upton Court and Kettering. There were milestones on the day for Richard Webster who did his 100th Parkrun and Brian Thompson his 150th.
It was the Grantham Cup 10K on Sunday and four Newark Striders took on the tough course with its two challenging hills. Peter Davis was first to finish, crossing the line in 52:45 followed by Gary Bourne 56:42, David Taylor (canicross) 58:24 and Chris Cregg 1:09:56.
