Newark Hockey Club Ladies One's kept their league and cup double dream alive with a thrilling 5-4 cup semifinal victory over Manning at the Magnus.

Goal machine Laura Donaldson netted four and penalty corner specialist Katie Sandell the other to put Newark 5-2 up and seemingly coasting but in a pulsating last twenty minutes the hero of the day proved to be goal minder George Barratt whose stunning saves was the difference between cup heartbreak and a finals day to look forward too.
