mixed start to the new season for Dave Sharp
Mixed Results at Stoke
After a delayed start to the season, (2 meetings cancelled due to adverse weather conditions and 2 meetings missed due to the car not being fully ready) Sunday saw the first race of 2018 for Dave Sharp and the MDS crew at Stoke.
After the success of last season and the work carried out over winter hopes were high that all would go well again this season.
It turned out to be a mixed day, with 2 great results, a 7th place in first heat followed by 3rd place in the second heat. Putting Dave once more in the points and hoping to continue to gain points in the final but unfortunately an engine problem and lack of oil pressure called an end to the meeting.
Up to then the car and Dave were looking good, circumstances mean that MDS Racing will miss the King Lynn meeting but hopefully will be back on track at Skegness Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday.
