Can you remember your first phone?

Can you remember your first phone?

Almost 20,000 children by the age of 6 get their first mobile, with 1 in 8 owning an iphone by the age of 8, new research reveals.

It found that 11 years old is the most common age to be given a phone – with 90% of youngsters having their own phone by the age of 15.

Nearly a quarter of parents said they gave their child a phone because all of their friends were getting them, and nearly 1 in 5 bought the device 'to keep them entertained.'

Surely a 6 year old doesn't need a phone?!  What do you think?
