Rachel stays dry, well almost!

There were 42 NOTFAST members at Parkruns this week, taking in Crosby, Lincoln, Newark, and also with 16 members on tour at Clumber Park. New PBsthis week for Simon Eccleston, Richard Borrill, Simon Lock, Nikki Dales, and Gill Goode.

NOTFAST were at the Stilton Stumble on Sunday, with 6 members taking part. This is a 10K trail run around the Colston Bassett area, with cheese given to competitors at the end. Damian Davies was 11th overall, and the first back for NOTFAST in 39:03, followed by Angela Brown (59:31), Kirsty Watson(59:35 PB), Kira Green (1:15:05 PB), Faye Hemingway (1:16:39), and Gill Goode (1:16:42)

Claire Simmonds and Chris Mumby were at the Run for Wildlife 5K on Sunday, which is a run around the wildlife park, in view of the animals. Claire completed the course in 31:56, and Chris in 33:44, and also 1st in age category.

Stuart Ashley, Kate Fisher and Jonathan Van-Tam were at the Spires and Steeples event. This goes from Lincoln to Sleaford along the Arts and Heritage Trail. Kate and Jonathan both completed the half marathon course, which starts at Metheringham and onto Sleaford, finishing in 2:28:00, while Stuart completed the full marathon distance course in 7:19

Adam Holland was back in action in the Eden Project Marathon, coming first in a time of 3:00:51 in his 3rd running of the event.

Piotr Dura and Kimberley Etherington-Bates were both in Birmingham for the marathon festival. Piotr completed the marathon in 3:38:38, while Kimberley completed the half marathon in 2:02:14 and a new PB.

Lyn Gascoigne was at the Moorgreen Duathalon, consisting of a 4km run, a 15km bike ride, and another 2KM run, completing the event in 1:27:00

Finally, Rachel Sheldrake completed the Lakeland Four Passes on Sunday. This is a 19-mile trail run in Borrowdale, in the Lake District, taking in some of the most scenic valleys and passes in the country. With 5100ft of ascent, Rachel completed the distance in 6:26.
