Newark Business Club Chair to host Election Hustings Event.
Newark Business Club are preparing to host a General Election Hustings evening on Thursday 27th June at the YMCA Events and Conference Centre in Newark. In the evening, candidates, standing for election on 4th July will be on hand to answer questions from the public.
The event is free to attend and will be hosted by Newark Business Club and their Chairman, Simon Gabbitas.
Simon says that the event is open to all Newark and Sherwood residents. "Get ready to engage, ask questions, and participate in the democratic process," says Simon. "Don't miss this chance to meet the candidates face-to-face and make an informed decision at the polls."
Ahead of the event, those wishing to attend can send in their questions by emailing hello@newarkbusinessclub.co.uk or via any of the Newark Business Club social media channels.
The evening will commence at 6.30 pm with Tea and Coffee available. Then from 7 till 9 pm, the audience is set to hear from each candidate.
