Two arrests following Lacey Green incident

A man and a woman have been arrested by police investigating a number of loud bangs in Balderton in the early hours of this morning.

A window was smashed in the incident in Lacey Green at around 1am today.

We are currently questioning an 18-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause criminal damage.

Patrols have been increased in the area, however it is believed to be an isolated incident.

Police officers are also conducting CCTV and house-to-house enquiries and are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious, or has CCTV or dash-cam footage in the area between 12.30am and 1.30am today, to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 35 of 22 March 2019. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
