Peter Davis collects his Volenteer of the Year award at the Newark Parkrun
It was the brainchild of Newark Striders member Peter Davis to bring about the resurrection of the Newark Half Marathon, and one sunny Sunday last August saw the return of our Towns premier sporting event as his dream came true.
and for co ordinating the return of the Newark Half Marathon Peter Davis is the winner of the Newark & Sherwood Volenteer of the year award.
Peter collected his award from Active for Today's Helen Ellison and Councilor Peter Duncan before the commencement of the Newark Parkrun.
