Adam Holland's world record bid continues
Saxon Shore Marathon (Saxons, Vikings & Normans 10 marathons in 10 days) day 3 killer head wind again. unlike the other ones where it has been 4 or 5 laps today was 2 laps. So we spent a long time battling against the wind unlike the other days where it was a short distance and a recovery back. You can see on my strava both times on the way out I was slowing down and after the turnaround I would speed up again.
Did half way in about 1:26:00 at this point I was mentally struggling and I wasn't sure whether I would be able to get that sub 3 I was aiming for. But with my relief I managed it! Time: 2:54:59sec and 1st back. I had one other runner just 2 1/2 minutes behind me which was just doing the one-day. I really do hope tomorrow will be easier but I am going to stay positive and keep working at trying to do sub 3 hours.
