A single Thomas Anderson goal mid way through the second half saw Chuter Ede win the oldest football tournament still being played for in Newark, The primary schools football trophy.

Bleasby provided excellent opponents and can consider themselves unlucky in a match that could have gone either way.

The skill, commitment and sportsmanship was a credit to both the players and teachers involved.
