Good form continues

Isabel Darvill, Newark`s Cycling Teenager continued her good form into the final races of the OVO Energy Women`s Tour Series with a 25th in Birkenhead last Tuesday, 21st in Salisbury last Thursday and saving her best ride until the final race at Brooklands on Saturday to complete her aim of a Top 20 placing with 19th place.  She also finished the Series as her Team`s high placed rider in 5 of the 7 races.  The Series is in it`s 11th year held annually in May over a 3 week period visiting towns and cities all over the UK and is one of the high profile cycling events with high intensity racing held in town/city centres to massive crowds.  Maybe Newark own year?  

In the Mallory Park Youth Circuit Race Series last Tuesday, William Hoyle (Newark Castle CC) finished 6th in the Under 8 Boys Scratch Race.  In the Under 10 Boys Scratch Race Jet Du Toit (Newark Castle CC) finished 3rd with Team-mate Louis Inman in 6th place.  In the Under 12 Boys Scratch Race, Charles Hoyle (Newark Castle) finished 5th with Jude Du Toit (Newark Castle) in 6th with Leo Bass (The MI Racing Academy) in 13th place and Samuel Murcott (Newark Castle) in 15th place.  In the Under 14 Boys Scratch Race, Finley Bass (The MI Racing Academy) finished 4th with Newark Castle`s Noah Inman in 10th place.

In the ZipVit/Lichfield City Cycling ClubYouth Races held on the Curborough Race Circuit in Lichfield last Saturday, 25th May William Hoyle (Newark Castle CC) finished 9th in the Under 8 Boys Race.  Charles Hoyle (Newark Castle) finished 6th in the Under 12 Boys Race with Leo  Bass (The MI Racing Academy) in 13th place and Samuel Murcott (Newark Castle) in 25th place.  In the Under 14 Boys Race, Finley Bass (The MI Racing Academy) was just pipped on the line and finished 2nd.
