BMX, Circuits and Cross Country

We start our reply with BMX rider Finley Cranidge who had his best weekend of the season at the Huncote meeting, 
Two 4ths and a 5th for Finlay in his qualifying rounds put him through to the semi finals where he finished 5th, missing out on the A final by 1 place, qualifying for the B final where he finished 5th again.

 

 

In last week’s Mallory Park Youth Circuit Race Series, Finley Bass (The MI Racing Academy) just missed out on the win with 2nd place in the Under 14 Boys Scratch Race.

In the Under 10 Boys Scratch Race Jet Du Toit (Newark Castle CC) finished 3rd.

In the Under 12 Boys Scratch Race Jude Du Toit (Newark Castle CC) finished with Team-mate Samuel Murcott in 11th place.  Leo Bass (The MI Racing Academy) finished 12th with Reece Crawford (Newark Castle CC) in 16th place.

 

In Round 3 of the Midlands Mountain Bike Cross Country Series held at Kirton, North Lincolnshire for the first time Vanessa Holmes (Sherwood Pines/Forme) was 2nd in the Elite Women`s Race to her rival from Lincoln, Sam Burnham (WNT Development Squad).

In the Juvenile Male Race, Noah Inman racing for the Lichfield City Cycling Club finished 12th.

In the Under 10 Boys Race, Louis Inman racing for the Bolsover & District Cycling Club finished 8th

In the Under 12 Boys Race, Charles Hoyle (Newark Castle CC) finished 5th

In the Under 8 Boys Race, younger Brother William also racing for Newark Castle CC) finished 13th

In the Veteran Male Race, Owen Wilby racing for the Sherwood Pines/Forme Team was 12th

 

Isabel Darvill rested but is down to race in the UK`s 2nd biggest one-day race on Sunday in the Women`s Melton Classic, an Event that is run over mainly very rough and narrow roads between Oakham and Melton Mowbray.  Again some of the Top UK Riders taking part.
