No Local Leagues run this past week-end mainly due to the HSBC UK National Trophy Cyclocross Round 6 being held at the Shrewsbury Sports Village and promoted by the Mid Shropshire Wheelers.
Zoe Codd (Velo Club Flintham) did well in the Veteran Women`s Race on Saturday to finish a creditable 15th.
Newark Castle Cycling Club`s young starlet, Florence Lissiman came a very creditable 11th in the Under 14 Girls Race on Sunday. I think another Star in the making for the future.
