Zoe returns from illness and the sisters brave the cold

On Saturday, Round 11 of the Forme/Notts. & Derbys. Cyclocross League was held at Chetwynd Barracks, Chilwell, Nottingham promoted by Fossa Racing with the following results for local riders.

Zoe Codd (Velo Club Flintham) returned after last week`s illness and finished 35th in the combined Senior/Junior/Women`s Race and was 2nd in the Female Vets Under 40 Category.

In the Veteran`s Men`s Race James Storr (Newark Castle Cycling Club finished 75th out of 108 finishers.

Noah Inman, racing for the Lichfield City Cycling Club finished 26th in the Youth Category (Under 16/Under1 14) Race and was 12th Under 14 to finish

In the Under 12`s Category Race Charles Hoyle (Newark Castle Cycling Club) was 2nd with Team-mates Jude Du Toit (6th) Oliver Gosling-Barr (37th) and Samuel Murcott 39th

Louis Inmam, racing for the Bolsover & District Cycling Club raced to the win in the Under 9`s Category Race with Newark Castle`s Jet Du Toit just behind in 3rd place

 

In the East Midlands Cyclocross Championships on Sunday at Abbey Farm, Bardney, Lincoln promoted by Velo Club Lincoln only the Lissaman Sisters competed in very windy and cold conditions with Charlotte coming 9th overall and 1st Female in the Under 12`s Race.

Florence who has moved up a Category this year to the very competitive and stronger Youth Category finished 25th Overall and 5th Under 14 Female out of a field of 40 riders.
