Coddington’s Owen Wilby wins at Cannock
Coddington`s Owen Wilby, racing for the Sherwood Pines Team won the Single Gear Race at the opening round Cannock Chase Classic Mountain Mountain Bike Winter Series held at Tackeroo Campsite, Cannock yesterday in very good fine weather. The Series is for everyone with races for raw beginners to Elite Riders all day. The Event was promoted by Mid=Shropshire Wheelers.
The previous week Owen and his Sherwood Pines Team-mate, Vanessa Holmes were quite successful in the Final Round of the Thetford Racing Revel Winter MTB Series held at Shouldham Warren. Vanessa finished 2nd in the Ladies 1.5 hour Race with Owen finishing 3rd and on the podium in the Vets 3 hour Race.
