A busy week

A busy week for our cyclists started with Round 4 of the Mallory Park Youth Circuit Race Series, Finley Bass (The MI Academy) won the Under 14 Boys Scratch Race with Noah Inman (Newark Castle CC) in 12th place.

In the Under 12 Boys Overall Standings Jude Du Toit (Newark Castle CC) was 5th with Team-mate, Charles Hoyle in 8th place.  Leo Bass (The MI Academy) was placed 10th with Samuel Murcott (Newark Castle CC) in 16th place.

In the Under 10 Boys Overall Standings Jet Du Toit (Newark Castle CC) was placed 2nd with Team-mate Louis Inman in 6th place.

In the Under 8 Boys Scratch Race, William Hoyle (Newark Castle CC) finished 6th.

On Monday May Day Bank Holiday, Isabel Darvill (Datalynx-Pareness Cycling) finished 5th Woman in the combined Womens/Master Men`s Race at the Ixworth Cycle Races promoted by West Suffolk Wheelers

Also on the Sunday, Rebecca Richards (Newark Castle CC) finished 7th in the Watford Velo Sport`s Women`s Road Race at Wing, Nr. Leighton Buzzrd, Bedfordshire.

This coming Sunday, see`s Isabel and Rebecca doing battle in the Women`s Chestnut Homes Lincoln Grand Prix which starts at 9am and completes 8 laps of a 8 mile circuit finishing at approx. 11.45am in Castle Square.  The Men`s Race starts at 1pm covering 13 laps and should finish a approx. 4.45pm

Also on the weekend, Vanessa Holmes (Sherwood Pines/Forme) competes in the Cannock Chase Round of the HSBC UK /BC MTB XC Series.
