Last Saturday, 6th May The Midlands Mountain Bike Cross Country Series Round 3 was held at Cannock Chase with the following local results.
Dave Fletcher Sherwood Pine Cycles/Felt Bikes/Enve Professional finished 2nd in the Mens Elite Race (See photo)
In the Open Males Event James Storr (Newark Castle CC) finished 18th
In the Under 12 Boys Race Noah Inman racing for Bolsolver & District CC was placed 16th with Florence Lissaman 4th in the Under 12 Girls Race
Jude Du Toit finished 5th in the Under 10 Boys Race
Lottie Lissaman won the Under 8 Girls Race and Louis Inman was placed 5th in the Under 8 Boys Race.
In the Mallory Park Youth League Round 4 on 2nd May, local riders finished as follows:
Finley Bass racing for The MI Racing Academy was 2nd in the Under 12 Boys Race with Noah Inman in 8th place
Florence Lissaman was 4th in the Under 12 Girls Race
Jude Du Toit won the Under 10 Boys Race with Leo Bass placed 7th
In the Under 8 Boys Race Louis Inman was 4th with Charlotte Lissaman winning the Under 8 Girls Race
On Saturday 29th April local Brothers, Louis and Noah Inman competed in the Zip Vit/Lichfield CCC Round 2 Series at Curborough, Nr Lichfield with Noah finishing 6th in the Under 12 Boys Race with Louis 2nd in the Under 8 Boys Race
This weekend sees the Lincoln Grand Prix and the Womens Grand Prix taking place on Sunday when thousands line the streets of Lincoln to see the UK`s top riders competing. Local interests will be with Isabel Darvill and Rebecca Richards in the Womens Race on Sunday morning.
