Dave's still battling for a trophy
Dave’s battle in the White and Yellow Top Series continued on Saturday 22nd October with the meeting at Adrian Flux Stadium Kings Lynn.
In heat 1 Dave was battling for 2nd place before being hit hard and colliding with the wall suffering damage to the car. The team worked hard and had the car repaired sufficiently to race in heat 2 which was yet another hard race, but Dave stayed out of trouble to gain 12th place.
The final was very fast with everyone chasing the points. After leading for several laps and then battling for 2nd place a multi car incident caused the race to be yellow flagged for safety reasons. Once the damaged vehicles had been cleared from the track the race restarted but the field had now closed up. Dave fought hard and held on to 9th place at the end of the 20 laps, thus gaining points to help in his challenge and put him into 2nd place in the Whites and Yellow series.
At the end of the evening Dave said “With the season coming to a close everyone is chasing the points, making for hard racing which makes it entertaining for the spectators. I’d like to thank Laurence of Jalapeno Business Services for coming this evening and helping along with Bracher Race Engines who helped the team get the car back out.”
