Adam Holland's world record attempt is still on track
Saxon Shore Marathon (Saxons, Vikings & Normans 10 marathons in 10 days) day 2 and the wind is still about. Again great to see more people I've not seen for a long time. Lovely to have Peter from Newark turn up to cheer me of for my marathon (his very first marathon tomorrow morning) weather well I was thinking it was going to be a sunny one but not to be as it ended up being cloudy which did made it a little cold.
Would say the second half of the marathon the wind picked up. Got off to a good start looking at doing about 6min a mile and the best bit was I had Tristan to run with for the first 13 miles before he drop back. Managed to keep a great pace up to 16miles and slowly slow down a little and when the last 3 miles came up I was happy to drop the pace as I was well ahead of target. Super to have Peter at the finish with my little running buddy Faith and her sister Ellie
