Newark Striders
A huge congratulations to the Poznan posse, who completed the half marathon in Poland. First to finish for Striders was Jan Bailey in a fantastic time of 1:27:38 PB ( to be confirmed by Jan ) followed closely by unofficial Strider Adam Clarke in an excellent time of 1:34:50, the ladies weren't far behind with Philippa Clarke in a fantastic time of 1:46:12 and Hannah Thomson in a fab time of 2:00:18
Three striders travelled to Norfolk to complete the Thorney 10k .
All three finishing in quick succession, first to finish was Mark Winter in 41.47, Peter Davis 44.44 and Clive Owen 50.20.
Peter reports that the weather was a little windy but it was a great race with a lot of fast club runners as it was flat course with PB potential.
