250 not out for Philippa
With no racing this weekend, it was all about Parkrun. At Newark, Philippa Clarke was the first club member to reach 250 Parkruns and earn the privilege to wear the coveted green 250 milestone t-shirt. Philippa ran her first Parkrun in February 2014 and as well as 198 runs at Newark, she has completed events at over 30 other locations and volunteered on many occasions too.
A group of Striders made the short trip to take on the hilly Gedling course, amongst them Simon Palmer and Jason Cobb who each completed their 100th Parkrun.
Additionally we had Parkrunners at Selcey Forest, Sewerby, Sherwood Pines and Lovstein, Norway.
