Newark Athletic Clubs youngsters had a great day at the 4th Nottinghamshire Cross Country Mini League at Worksop. So glad they had Sunday’s weather and not that of Saturday.
Results are as follows.......
The first race saw Harriet Monaghan finishing in 26th place in the U11 girls race.
Then we had a team of U11 boys in the next race with Ryley Picker finishing in 3rd place for the third time, Jude White in his debut race for the club finishing 36th and Cameron Shivas in 38th place.
The next race was for U13 girls with four athletes taking part. First home was Niamh Monaghan 11th, followed by Beth Wynn-Jones 14th, Anna Clarke 21st and Zoe Smith 22nd.
This was followed by the the U13 boys race with Joseph Monk finishing in 2nd place and Josh Clee 12th.
Our final race was for U15 girls with Ellie Monaghan 7th and Catherine Booth in 10th.
The final league race is at Rushcliffe in February.
