After a successful Saturday for the Nottinghamshire members of Newark Athletic Club all eyes turned to Biscathorpe for the Lincs County XC Champs on Sunday, and the “yellow bellies” didn’t disappoint;
A County Champship Gold Medal for Cloe Hubbard in the Senior ladies race with a fantastic sprint finish to take first place from Lincoln Wellingtons Laura Wilkinson.
Ex Newark A.C. Linton Taylor won the Senior Mens race for his new club Leeds,
Tom Hubbard also had a great race up front. Vets saw Gareth Owens bringing up the rear with also with good run.
Under 13s saw Niamh Monaghan secure 1st also as County Champ.
Under 15s saw Ellie Monaghan 5th and Catherine Booth 9th.
Under 17s saw Alex Ellis 3rd and Tilly and Lauren Owens 8th and 9th.
Under 20s saw Amber Owens 2nd.
