Ladies Captains Day
Newark Golf Club Ladies’ Captain Sandra Goodwin held her Captain’s Day on Tuesday 9th July 2019
The weather stayed fine and dry and 41 ladies took part in the Stableford Competition with the Ladies ‘ Captain’s Main Prize going to Jane Tucker who had a great score of 41 points. (Winner Jane Tucker (Left) & Ladies Captain Sandra Goodwin)
Other prize winners were :-
1st Silver Division - Sue Birkett
1st Bronze Division - Miyako Williams
Best Gross Silver- Julia Hatcher
Best Gross Bronze - Sue Burns
There were many other prizes including Nearest the Pins and Putting.
Ladies Invitation Day
36 Ladies took part in Invitation Day at Newark on Monday 15 July.
The format for the competition was a Pairs Betterball Stableford.
It was a double celebration for Tracy Macdonald as it was her birthday and together with her partner Dianne Jackson they were the winners with a great score of 43 points. (Picture attached)
2nd was Ladies Captain Sandra Goodwin and her partner Glenice Walton with 41 points and 3rd Sue Birkett and Remie Coulson with 39 points.
