Will Britten to lead first team in the new season
Will Britten will captain Newark’s first XV for a second season starting in September.
The centre has been re-appointed by the club’s board of directors for the new season which starts away to Ashfield on Saturday Sept 14.

Tim Barker, the club’s director of rugby, said: “Will had an excellent debut season as captain in which we finished eighth in Midlands Two East North and triumphed in the Notts, Lincs & Derbys Shield.
“I’m looking forward to working with Will and our new first team coach, Adam Corcoran, who has joined the club from Paviors.”
Pre-season training will start in early July building towards three friendly fixtures, starting on Aug 24 when the club stages a centenary match against a Notts, Lincs & Derbys under-20s XV at Kelham Road.
Newark’s first home league game is on September 28 against Coalville.
