There were tears of both joy and disappointment at this year's Worksop Half Marathon. The course threw hill after hill at us but 35 Striders completed the course.

Striders on tour.
It's been an amazing weekend in Ljubljana and the half marathon did not disappoint. A nice flatish course around the city saw new personal best times achieved by Lynne Boby , Nicole Henderson and guest Strider Charlie Kaye.
First Strider to finish and coming back from injury was Mark Jackson who finished in a great time of 1:36:53, followed Charlie Kaye 1:50:49 PB, Noel Henderson 1:54: 20 Andy Scott 2:08: 59, Jacqui Jackson 2:09: 31,Kath Scott 2:21:29 , Lynne Boby 2:21:36, and finishing together Nicole Hendson 2:26: 49 PB and Jen Owens 2:26:49 .
A huge congratulations to Striders
Laura Smith and Sara Whittaker who completed the Spooky Sprint 10K at Woolaton Hall , it was Lauras first offical 10K race and they finished together in 1:08: 00.
Well done to the four Striders who completed the Belvoir clockback cross country 10k. Lewis Hopkinson came 6th overall and 1st in a time his age category finishing in a time of 40:41with Mark Winter coming 16th in a time of 43:24, Gary Tasker in 45:06 and our only lady Strider Emma Gilbert in 48:35.
