Newark Lawn Tennis Clubs last outing before Christmas brought success for the Mixed 2nd team as they put in a solid performance against Lady Bay C.
The first pairing of Sam Butler and Katy Dines won 26-10 whilst Andy Cole and Lynne Hare come out on top 24-12, the third pairing of Dave Stuart and Jill Pinder drew at 18-18. All in all, enough to win the match 68-40.
The Ladies 1st final match of 2018 was cancelled due to poor court conditions for their away game. All teams now look forward to continuing their good form in 2019.
