A sprint triathlon!!
The weekend started with Nick Williams and Wendi Carrington taking part in The Nottingham Sprint Triathlon, Nick came home with a combined time of 01:13 and Wendi with 01:27 brilliant times from both.
Sunday saw the club head coach Tom Marshall along with members Dave Tilley and Mary Swindles take on The Nottingham Outlaw Half Triathlon. Supported by family, friends and members around the course Tom came home in an outstanding 41st place in a field of over 1300 competitors. Finishing 5th in his age category in a time of 04:36:55. Next home was Dave with a very strong performance and an overall time of 04:52:26 but he suffered a DSQ. Mary finished with a brilliant time of 07:08:51 just 3 weeks after completing the London Marathon!
Further afield saw David Daubney tackle the very scenic but hilly Ravenscar Coastal half Marathon in a great time of 02:10. And Henrietta Bettison Mcabe competing in the Meridian East Coast 10 miler and yet again improving her PB to 01:36:16.
