23 NOTFAST members took part in Parkruns this week, at Rushcliffe, Exeter and Newark, with PBs this week for Lynn Hare, Sue Swain, and Anna Wilkinson.

This week was the Gordon Whelbourn week, organised by Newark AC and well supported by NOTFAST. His involves a 5k run every evening from Monday to Thursday in various locations, and a 10k on the Friday at Flowserve. In total, NOTFAST had 75 individual runners competing through the week out of a field of 167, with 39 NOTFAST runners completing the whole week. Adam Hollandcame in 1st overall after winning all 5 events across the week, while Diana Wakefield was the first of the NOTFAST ladies, in 10th place.

Across the weekend, was Airfield Anarchy, a series of obstacle course races on the showground in Newark, with lots of mud. On Saturday afternoon, Stuart Chase, Andy Rowland, Breeze Rowlands, Lisa Leach, Peter Middleton and Simon Lock all took part in the 10K event together. Zoe Smith also completed the event with another team. Lots of fun and laughs on the way around, they completed the course as a group in 2:48:54. Peter and Simon also completed the Epic Weekend event, which involved a 5k obstacle run on Saturday morning, the 10K, and also a 10 mile obstacle run on the Sunday morning. After completing the 5K in 53:42, and the 10K with the group, a very weary and sore pair finished the final 10 mile event in 2:27:02.

On Sunday, Peter Lane and Kira Green completed the Clumber Park 10k, a scenic event through the National Trust parkland. Peter had been ill leading up to the race, but still finished in 54:40, and Kira came in in 1:13:06

Adam Holland was in the south for the Yeovil Marathon on Sunday. Despite having completed the Gordon Whelbourn week, and a Parkrun on Saturday, he pushed his tired legs out to complete the course in first place in a time of 2:46:09, a full 89 seconds faster than last year.
