33 members completed Parkruns this week, at Parke, Rushcliffe, Jersey, Gedling, Worsley Woods and Newark, with a new PB for Stevie Jackson.

On Wednesday, we have the 4th instalment of the Nottinghamshire Summer League. This event held at Worksop had huge support from NOTFAST, despite the very hot 5 mile course. First back for the men’s team was Damian Davies in 29:43, followed by Adrian Dix (30:30), Richard Hallam (32:32), Jim Lovett(37:30), Robert Jackson (37:38), Simon Eccleston (38:21), Richard Borrill(38:31), Martin Dickenson (39:12), Andy Rowlands (39:25), Cliff Robinson(39:43), Steve White (39:50), David Gill (40:28), Alexander Combie (40:31), Peter Waller (40:50), Piotra Dura (41:10), Stuart Chase (41:14), Andy Pritchett (42:13), Nick Rayns (43:44), Jeremy Reichelt (50:56), Matt Gascoigne (50:56), Stuart Hawkes (51:40), Andy Watts (57:08),  and Edward Casebourne (63:50). First back for the Ladies team was Kimberley Etherington-Bates in 40:08, closely followed by Janet Davies (40:23), Kate Fisher (41:18), Annette Taylor (43:07), Angela Brown (44:09), Kirsty Jackson (44:32), Selina Noquet (45:15), Melanie Watson (45:17), Cheryl Kempster (45:55), Jo Gray (46:49), Charlotte Sutton (46:54), Nikki Dales(47:14), Kerry Robinson (47:24), Kirsty Watson (49:05), Lisa Leach (49:11), Lyn Gascoigne (50:55), Breeze Rowlands (51:41), Claire Simmonds (51:42), Cath Hare (51:42), Maria Brambles (51:54), Jacqui Walton (52:17), Karen Borrill (52:17), Kate Blair (56:37), Gill Goode (57:48), Kath Ashley (58:48), Madaleine Combie (67:10), Zoe Smith (71:48), and Beth Webster (72:53).

Claire Simmonds was in Lincoln for the 5k Race for Life. Claire was very happy to finish in the top 20 runners, and a sub 30min run, in a time of 29:48

Chris McDonnell was at the Windmill Half Marathon at Lytham St. Annes, near Blackpool on Sunday. Despite the hot and windy day, Chris finished in 1:43:40, and was very happy with the large medal on offer. 

Adam Holland was at the Haytor Heller on Sunday, in Newton Abbott, Devon. This is a very steep and hilly 10K trail race. Adam was 8th at the top of the main incline, but took the lead on the large downhill section, and after changing places with another competitor, kept the lead to finish first in 42:20.

Finally, on Sunday, our chairman, Jeremy Reichelt competed in his first every marathon in Dundee. On what was described by the organiser as "slightly warmer (and windier) conditions than expected." He said that he didn't expect to get sunburnt nor nearly blown off the sea wall, but he did complete the distance in a more than respectable 4:27:15.
