Notfast Running Club tour the country
There we 30 club members at Parkruns this week, in Tewkesbury, Sheringham, Clumber Park, Beeston, Long Eaton, Moors Valley, Poznan and Newark, with new PB this week for Andy Rowlands, Lyn Gascoigne and Jill Fowkes.
On Wednesday, Damian Davies completed the Beeston AC Trent 5-miles. A flat course, next to a river and canal, and Damian finished in a new PB of 29:54.
On Sunday, NOTFAST were well represented at the Edinburgh Marathon and ½ marathon. Running the half was Stuart Chase (1:56:17), Nick Rayns (1:59:37), and Lisa Leach (2:20:27). In the marathon, Adrian Dix came back in 3:16:20, and Steven White in a new PB of 4:09:51.
Simon and Mandy Eccleston were at the Dymock Half Marathon, with lots of hills and rainy conditions, both finishing in 2:04.
Damian and Janet Davies were at the Vitality London 10,000, starting and finishing in front of Buckingham Palace with 17,000 other runners. Damian finished in a new PB of 38:17, and Janet finished in 51:50
Finally, Netty Stevens took on the Devon Marathon this weekend. Very hilly and challenging course, with time still to be confirmed
