Stuart and Edward walk round Derby, the whole way
38 NOTFAST members took part in Parkrun this week, with Simon Lock, Victoria Heath and Jacqui Walton at Belton House, Stuart Hawkes at Bushy Park, Lyn Gascoigne at Rushcliffe, Nikki Dales at Clumber, and everyone else at Newark. The only NOTFAST Parkrun PB this week was to Adam Jackson.
Edward Casebourne and Stuart Ashley completed The Wilmot Wander Challenge Walk today which is a 32 mile circular walk around the outskirts of Derby.
Started at 07.22 from Chaddesden passing through Stanley, Morley, Duffield Quarndon, Mackworth, Radbourne, Mickleover, Burnaston, Findern, along The Trent and Mersey Canal to Swarkestone Lock and north back to Chaddesden.
The sun came out to start but was soon replaced by fog and the rain which was forecast to start at 2.00pm started almost on cue at 1.55, light to start with but a lot heavier for the last 5 miles.
Finished at 18.10 in a time of 10 hours 48 mins.
