Last Tuesday saw the first of the HolmePierrepont GP Series held at Rushcliffe park for a 4 mile race. Notfast had 7 members taking park, First back for the club was Adrian Dix – 00:26:05, Followed by Jeremy Reichelt – 00:33:02, David Gill – 00:33:47, Rachel Hill – 00:38:04, Andy Pritchett - 00:40:03, Madaleine Combie – 00:43:09 and Ann White 00:46:08
Kim Etherington Bates was at the Wellington 5k Series (also on Tuesday) – 2nd event, completing in 00:24:14
Thursday saw the 2nd HolmePierrepont GP event – a 5 mile race at Colwick Park. 6 members turned up: Jeremy Reichelt00:42:48, David Gill 00:43:26, Andy Pritchett – 00:50:20, Rachel Hill – 00:50:26, Madaleine Combie - 00:51:56, Ann White 00:59:05.
7 members took part in the round shefflied run on Sunday, a unique event ran in 11 stages over 20km
Damian Davies finished in 01:17:12 (30 seconds faster than last year), Janet Davies completed in 01:40:14 (0ver 10 minutes faster than last year), Nikki Dales and Fay parker ran as a pair, completing in 02:04:05. Rachel Sheldrake finished in 02:11:57 and Annette Taylor crossed the finish line in 02:23:00.
In more local races, 2 members were at the BOttesford Bumble, Ann Manley completed the 5k in 00:30:22 and Jill Fowkescompleted the 10k in 01:12:36
